October DC/TL Timeline

What We Do
  1. Submit PEIMS review student list by October 3 (Preparation for October Count 2016 instructions).
  2. Elementary Team Leads Collect all student lists for those who will be participating in iReady & submit to Campus Coordinator by October 7.
  3. Collect teacher daily schedules with students identified who are receiving services in the classrooms that the teachers are scheduled to be in Secondary Coordinators will be requesting this information Oct 3-6.  Elementary Team Leads will submit a copy of the SpEd teacher schedules including student's receiving the services.
  4. Collect copies of CBI, SL, and self-contained PPCD CPR certification.  
  5. Meet with SpEd Case Managers to discuss their analysis of student service logs.  Monitor students receiving their services and let administration know if there is a problem with a student receiving their services.  
  6. Submit August & September medicaid sign-in sheets to the medicaid specialist by scanning them on or before October 14.
  7. Complete and submit Revised Monthly Count information to campus coordinator.
  8. Ensure SpEd teachers are collaborating with GenEd teachers to complete the Form 2 - Student Services Planning Document prior to participating in the annual ARD/IEP meeting
  9. When a restraint takes place, be sure that the certified staff member involved in the restraint completes the appropriate forms and notifies administration and parents according to the procedures outlined in the procedures manual: Confinement, Restraint, and Timeout.
  10. Meet with Special Education team to relay information from the DC/TL meeting (agenda and sign-in sheets will be collected next month).

  • Secondary SpEd Master schedule including all SpEd students' names for each period receiving services.  **Campus Coordinators will have individual campus template**
  • Elementary SpEd teacher schedules including the names of all SpEd students receiving services during each segment of time. 
  • Elementary iReady participants list.
  • Copies of CBI, SL, and PPCD CPR training certificates (for any staff member who is current with their training).

  3. Medicaid Sign-In Sheet for August & September
