2020-2021 November DC/TL/CS Timeline

What We Do
  1. Due by November 5th: 

    • Ensure all Secondary and ECSE case managers update and archive IEP progress reports for the second 6 weeks (Secondary) or 1st reporting period (ECSE).

    Due by November 8th:

    • Confirm all transfer agreements have been archived and the IEP clerk has sent documents to the District SpEd Office (Wanda Concha/Patricia Shaw).

    • Ensure that all 30 day Transfer ARDs take place within the 30-day timeline.

    • Assign Case Manager for all new students. Selections should be determined based on the program the student is involved in, classes where the teacher is assigned to support, extracurricular activities for those students receiving monitoring through Support Facilitation

    • Provide any updated teacher schedules to the Campus Coordinator as schedules are adjusted.

    • Meet with SpEd Case Managers to discuss any students who did not receive their services during the month of October.  Maintain a running record of this information and share with administration if a pattern of concerning behavior is identified through the data.

    Due by November 18th: 

    Ensure all case managers have completed Schoology Course ESPED: Documentation of Services and Parent Contact: Section 1 by receiving confirmation.

    Ensure all returning case managers have completed the Collaboration Portal Schoology by receiving confirmation.

    Ongoing, Due by end of Month

    • Make sure any restraint forms are completed and submitted by the certified staff member involved according to the procedures outlined in the procedures manual**: Confinement, Restraint, and Timeout.

    • Meet with Special Education Coordinator to provide Department Information

    • Attend DC/TL Connection Meeting (online November 18).
