CASE MANAGER TIMELINE: SPECIAL EDUCATION EC-12 |

Special Education teachers
are also Case Managers. In addition to
specially designing instruction for students receiving in-class support or out
of class support, each teacher is responsible for monitoring the
implementation of the student’s Individualized Education Plan for those
assigned to their case load. A typical
case load is between 6-20 students (depending on the program). This timeline includes components of case
management and instruction as both positions are equally important to the
success of students accessing the general curriculum.
